Van Dyke Browns 1986-1987
The Van Dyke Browns go back to the dawn of photography using the same process
of many of the early photographers. The application of the emulsion applied
to print maker's paper allows a glimpse of the hand of the artist while
looking through to what the artist saw. Light and the quality of light
becomes transformed in an exploration of human themes.
